He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin E. James and Annie A. Rintoul; his wife Sally Helene (Code); and his daughter Elizabeth Jane James (Jennie). He is survived by: his daughters, Margaret Ann James (Scott McLean) of Ottawa and Martha Hélène (Sam Lubbat); his grandchildren, Christopher, Steven James, Vivienne and Kate Lubbat; and his sister Jane Ann E. Chamney (John) of Carleton Place.
