He was predeceased by: his parents, Minerva Sudsbury (Duggan) and Alvin Sudsbury; his wife Pat Ann Sudsbury (Power); and his sisters, Alma MacEachern and Marie Tuplin.

He is survived by: his children, Rae Ann Sudsbury (Allyson Woodside) of Carleton Place and Robin Porter (James) of Toronto, Ontario.; his grandchildren, Andrew and Jamie Ann Porter; and his siblings, Vernon "Bud" Sudsbury and Cathy MacDougall.
