He is survived by: his wife Ana; his sons, Jorge (Cacilda Carcao), Carlos (Stacey Carcao) and Fernando (Monica Carcao); his brothers, Antonio (Teresa Carcao) and Jose Luis Galego, Sr.; and his grandchildren, Cassidy, Timothy, Keith, Lillian, Jacqueline, Matthew and Kostas.
