He was predeceased by: his daughter Sheila Moriarty (Mike Foran) of Wolf Lake; his wife Mary Semmens; and his siblings, Sheila, Teresa Kennie, Mary McDermid, Vincent, Raymond, Leonard, Francis and Harold.

He is survived by: his girlfriend Stella Horan; his children, Tom (Kelli) of Chesterville, Colleen Hyde (Ken) of Ottawa and Dan (Karen) of Chesterville; his siblings, Cassie Doherty of Ottawa, Ann Burkhart of Liverpool, N. Y., Jean LePage of Ottawa, Stella Kelly of Ottawa and Colleen Ethier of Ottawa; his grandchildren, Rory (Carolyn), Brody (Michelle), Keegen, Brittany, Cheryl (Trevor), Sandra and Alicia; and his great grandchildren, Kassie, Kase, Kora, Kaisley, Leah, Emerson, Jocelyn, McKinley, Tate, Mac and Locklyn. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
