It is with great sadness that we announce the death of João Maria Marques (Cardinal, Ontario), who passed away on August 17, 2019, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Delminda; his daughter Liz (Chris); his grandsons, James and Jake; his daughter Lina (Paolo); and his sisters, Celene (Carlos), Alice, Portugal and Paris. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews and extended family.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his memory to the Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation.
