She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Chrystyna (Drozd) and Andrij; her children, Olga, Henry, Bohdan and Bohdanna; and her grandchildren, Nicholas, Hung Chiu, Olena, Daniel and Christian.
Fenna Kapeluch was born in the Carpathian mountain village of Vyslik Velykyj during the 1918 flu pandemic, the end of the Great War, and the dissolution of the Austro-Hungarian Empire.
