Aren Groen Obituary

We are sad to announce that on July 30, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Aren Groen of Cardinal, Ontario. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his spouse Simona Groen (Oorschot); his granddaughter Pamela Vrieling; his parents, Aren Groen and Johanna Groen (Langenberg); and his sisters, Catharina and Cornelia.

He is survived by: his children, Dinah Newberry (Wayne) of Kanata, Sharon Vrieling (Jerry) of Cardinal, Aren Groen Jr. of Ottawa and Richard Groen (Julianne Carioto) of Cardinal; and his grandchildren, Erica Williscroft, Kevin Newberry, Trevor Vrieling and Vivian Groen. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews and friends.

In memory of Aren, donations to the Royal Canadian Legion, Canadian Cancer Society or the Alzheimer's Society would be appreciated by the family.
