He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Maria Efigenia of Carvalho; his children, Ricardo, Roberto, Rui and Carina; his stepchildren, Mafferson, Soraya, Patricia and Valdinei; his grandchildren, Ethan, Nathan, Jacob, Gabriel, Oliver, Mathew, Kamila and Masiel; his stepgrandchildren, Elisson, Camilla, Alvaro, Artur, Megan, Ryan, Jake, Zak, Shania and Larissa; his sister Luisa; his brother-in-law Jose; and his nephews, Luis and Mario.
