It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Catherine Barkey of Cannington, Ontario, who passed away on May 15, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Edwin; her children, David (Angelie), Janice (Rodney Newcombe) and Lisa (Robert Thiessen); her grandchildren, Mariel (Joseph Ariwi), Madeline, Meredith, Megan, Solomon and Samuel; her parents, Rev. William and Myrtle VanderBent of Richmond Hill; and her siblings, Marie, David and Bruce.
