He was predeceased by: his siblings, Wayne Burnett, Larry Burnett and Julie Stewart (Brad); and his grandchildren, Marigold, Violet, River, Theo, Grace and Amelia.

He is survived by: his wife Lisa Burnett; his children, Stuart (Julia), Blake (Shantelle), Doulton (Ashlyne) and Jennise (Travis); and his grandchildren, Reuben, Sophia, Adelaide, Judah, Charlie and William. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
