He was predeceased by: his child Barbara-Ann Dewey; and his brother Murray Ranson. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Diane Ranson; his grandchildren, Ashley and Amy Dewey; his siblings, Ruth McInroy (Don), Richard Ranson, Sharon Rusk (Wayne), Marlen Lewis and Robert Ranson; and also Carl Dewey (Vickie). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.
