She was predeceased by: her husband Kenneth Keates; and her brothers, Mack Lapstra (Cora) and Bill Lapstra (Ruby). She is survived by: her stepchildren, Tracey Keates (Harvey Dawson) and Craig Keates (Jill); her stepgrandchildren, Theoren, Madison, Sydney Abate, Callum and Ali Keates; her siblings, Thea Dunk (Bruce) of Campbellford, Gary Lapstra (Joan) of Newmarket and Andy Lapstra (Sharon) of Port Elgin; and her former husband Al Ewles. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
