She was predeceased by: her sister Sheila Barrons; and her parents, Bob Barrons and Eileen Barrons. She is survived by: her husband William Douglas; her children, Ryan Morton (Erin), Brad Morton (Mihae Ahn), Shawn Douglas and Shannon Douglas (Cole Lake); her grandchildren, Jordyn, Evan and Addison; and her siblings, Cathy Fluke (Mark), John Barrons (Melissa La Croix) and James Barrons (Patricia Rikley).
In memory of Valerie, donations may be made to United Church, Springbrook or Mt. Nebo Cemetery.
