He was predeceased by: his parents, Wallace Merrill and Evelyn Merrill; his brother Earl R. Merrill; and his sister-in-law Margaret. He is survived by: his wife Lorna Merrill; his son Carl Merrill; and his siblings, Lorraine Hicks (George), David Merrill (Terry), Ray Merrill (Marie), Nancy Deen (Jack), Betty Brown (Glen), Keith Merrill (Shirley), Wayne Young (Hazel), Faye Ingram (David), Lorraine Honey (Don) and Glenda Young (Rob Liss). He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews and friends.
