He was predeceased by: his spouse Muriel; his siblings, Colleen Dawson and Arthur Dawson; and his sister-in-law Barbara Dawson. He is survived by: his children, Laurie LaPlante (John), Kathy Barthel and John Dawson (Peggy Harder); and his sibling Allan Dawson (Margaret).
