It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gordon Robert Akins (Campbellford, Ontario), who passed away on September 7, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his son Ronald Akins; and his siblings, Helen Robertson (Art) and Alfred (Hazel). He is survived by: his wife Barbara Akins; his children, Margaret-Ann Lain (Brian), Ross Akins (Michele) and Ray Akins; his grandchildren, Ryan, Dale, Bradley (Meagan), Kevin (Mairi), Cheyenne (Adam Plume), Eileen Barker-Akins and Gordon Barker-Akins; his great grandchildren, Emma, Theo and Meadow Belle; and his sister Tressa Glenn (late Les). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
