He was predeceased by: his siblings, Ann Hebor (Stan) and James. He is survived by: his wife June; his sons, John and Jason (Julie); his grandchild Dawson; and his siblings, Ruth Pringle (late Morley), William J. "Bill" Thompson and Eleanor Thompson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
In memory of George, donations may be made to the Diabetes Canada or the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
