He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Smith; his children, Phillip Smith (Genness) and Amy Smith; his sisters, Margaret Day (Gordon), Marilyn Macoun (John) and Susan Seaborn (Garth); his nieces and nephews, Jeremy Day (Salome), Erin Day (Chris Webber), Sara Macoun, Kathryn Rance (Zack) and Bryce Seaborn; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Matthew, Abby, Phoenix and Levi.
