He was predeceased by: his wife Leila Grills; his parents, James Grills and Hazel Grills; his siblings, Morley (Jean Grills), Ray Grills, Walter (Georgina Grills) and Violet Nicholson; and his brother-in-law Phillip Turner.
He is survived by: his children, Murray Grills (Susan), Edna Pearse (late Bob), Brian Grills (Debbie) and Sharon Burfoot (late Ken); his grandchildren, Paul, Trevor, Jeffrey, David, Michael, Krista and Robert; his siblings, Audrey Turner, Isobel (Rayburn Johansen), Laura (Fred Ingram) and Cliff (Bev Grills); his sister-in-law Jean Grills; and his niece Carol. He is also survived by many family members and friends.
