George Thompson Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Thompson of Cameron, Ontario, who passed away on May 28, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lorne Thompson and Vera Thompson of Cameron; his siblings, Velma (late Cliff Maunder), Helen Thompson, Andy Krugel, Pearl and Bob Hampton; and his brothers-in-law, Alex Sinclair and Robert Sinclair.

He is survived by: his children, Roderick (Janet), Douglas (late Linda) and Deborah Sawyer (Stephen); his grandchildren, Lyndsay, Aaron, Tyler, Justin and Morgan; his great grandchild Bryer; his siblings, Jim (Betty), Carl, Marion Thaxter (Dave), Lloyd (Carol), Lorna Krugel and Allan (Theresa); and his sister-in-law Maxine Sinclair. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
