We are sad to announce that on February 4, 2025, at the age of 76, Walter John Galway in Cambridge, Ontario passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Geraldine; his children, Michelle Galway (Dave), Scott Galway (Susy) and James Michael; his grandchildren, Nicole (Asim), Chantele (Martin), Ryan (Joss), Jordyn, Riley, Jaden and Ryder; his great grandchildren, Nyla, Landon, Noah, Olivia, Naseem, Sophia, Aleena and Mia; his parents, James Galway and Agatha Galway; and his siblings, Raymon (Marrion), Johnny (Andrea), Kevin, Desmond, Jimmy, Evelyn (Warwick), Catherine (Mike) and Patricia (Finn).

He is survived by: his sisters-in-law, Lorraine and Sandra. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, extended family.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Corbett Funeral Home (95 Dundas St N, Cambridge, ON N1R5N6). A burial was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Parklawn Cemetery (750 Fountain St N, Cambridge, ON N3H4R7).
