He was predeceased by: his parents, Jagpal Uppal and Sanyukta Uppal. He is survived by: his wife Sudha Uppal; his children, Leena Uppal (Matthew Birtch) and Neil Uppal (Sarah Uppal); his grandchildren, Maxwell and Noah; and his brothers, Ranjit Uppal, Kamal Uppal and Inder Uppal.
