Shirley Elizabeth Helmkay Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Shirley Elizabeth Helmkay in Cambridge, Ontario, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 20, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Jack Evans; her son Gary Evans (Red); and her granddaughter Leanne Evans. She is survived by: her daughters, Barbara Kent (Francis), Dale Lyttle and Debbie Cyples; her grandchildren, Wayne Lyttle (Jacinthe), Steven Kent, Julia Evans, Theresa Lyttle, Kyle Kent (Kristi) and Michael Cyples (Suzie); and her siblings, Joan Thompson, Edna, Phyllis, Wayne and Fred.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Corbett Funeral Home (95 Dundas St N, Cambridge, ON N1R5N6).
In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to be made to any of these charities in her honor.
