He was predeceased by: his wife Audrey Mae (Snook); his grandson Darren Ranton; his sisters, Katherine and Emma Oxford; and his siblings-in-law, Harry Bracher and Norma Oxford.

He is survived by: his children, David (Anne), Betty Sharpe and Brian (Lori); his grandchildren, Laura Craig (Dwayne), Hilary Oxford (Roy Loveless), Krystal Ranton (Mike Drover) and Nicole Souza (Billie); and his siblings, William (Rose), Eldon, Mary Bracher and Marie Rumsby. He is also survived by 8 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Corbett Funeral Home (95 Dundas St N, Cambridge, ON N1R5N6). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Calvary Church (127 Hespeler Rd, Cambridge, ON N1R3G9). A reception was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location.
