She was predeceased by: her husband Fred Attwell of Sunnyside's Seabreeze; her grandson Kyle Widarski; and her parents, Gertrude Lawrence and Ambrose Lawrence. She is survived by: her children, Pavey (Don), Diane Palfrey (Greg), Maureen Attwell and Patty Attwell Tennant (Mike); her grandchildren, Michael (Kayla), Juliann (Kurt), Zac (Kelsey), Matt (Chel), Tristan, Laura (Jesse) and Dan; her great grandchildren, Kruz, Kash and Kenzie; her brother Carey (Muriel); her sister-in-law Flo; and her wonderful Dora.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to Lissard House or the Jesuit Society of Canada in Rita's name would be appreciated by the family.
