Marija (Turk) Ament Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marija (Turk) Ament (Cambridge, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 11, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Marija may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Marija touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lounsbury Funeral Home (1766 Franklin Blvd, Cambridge, ON N3C1N8). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Croatian Club (2006 Shantz Station Rd, Breslau, ON N0B1M0). A burial was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at the Parklawn Cemetery (750 Fountain St S, Cambridge, ON N3H4R7).
It is because of this in lieu of flowers we would appreciate donations to Lisaard House in Marija's honour.
