Maria Isabel Freitas Obituary

We are sad to announce that on December 18, 2024, at the age of 94, Maria Isabel Freitas (Cambridge, Ontario) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Maria Isabel Freitas to pay them a last tribute.

Though Maria may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Maria touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Jose; and her children, Antonio (Ilda), Ines (late Angelo), Maria Assuncao (late Jose), Jose (Paula), Isabel (Mario) and Ana (late Alexander). She was also cherished by her 16 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren as well as extended family.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Corbett Funeral Home (95 Dundas St N, Cambridge, ON N1R5N6). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, December 24th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the Our Lady of Fatima R. C. Church (185 Elgin St N, Cambridge, ON N1R5H9). A burial will be held on Tuesday, December 24th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Mount View Cemetery (80 Blenheim Rd, Cambridge, ON N1S4H8).
