She was predeceased by: her husband Miguel Albuquerque; her parents, Antonio Freitas and Maria Jose Moura; her siblings, Conceicao Cabral, Ana Braga, Virginia Freitas, Rosa Braga, Francelina Resendes, Jose Freitas, Guilherme Freitas and Manuel Freitas; and her siblings-in-law, Rafael Albuquerque and Maria Costa.
She is survived by: her children, Carminda (Carlos), Pereira, Nilza Leal (John), Afonso Albuquerque (Andrea Young), Mike Albuquerque (Jenny) and Julie Leal-Albuquerque; her grandchildren, Randy, Richard, Kevin, Casey, Amanda, Cody, Samantha and Cinthia; her sisters, Guiomar Resendes and Ines Nunes; and her sisters-in-law, Ana Nunes, Maria Helena Lima, Ines Freitas and Maria Deus Freitas. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren and all her nieces, nephews' friends and family.
