Laura Andrade Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Laura Andrade (Cambridge, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 6, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Laura departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Laura may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Laura leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her husband Joao. She is survived by: her children, Steven (late Brenda), Jose Eduardo (Rosa), Noemia (Jose Vicente) and Frank (Cindy). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Corbett Funeral Home Chapel (95 Dundas St N, Cambridge, ON N1R5N6). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Fatima RC Church (185 Elgin St S, Cambridge, ON N1R7C8). A burial was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Mount View Cemetery (80 Blenheim Rd, Cambridge, ON N1S4H8).
Donations made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Alzheimer Society of Canada, would be greatly appreciated by the family.
