He was predeceased by: his father Harry Bast. He is survived by: his mother Gisela Bast; his siblings, Angela Mercier (Joe) and Daryl Bast (Carla); his nieces, Haley Mercier, Jessica Bast and Daril Bast; and his nephew Ethan Mercier.
