She was predeceased by: her husband Nick; her daughter Shirley; her siblings, Jan Kolthof and Jaap (Riekje Folkerts); and her siblings-in-law, Gerda Gazendam, Janny Gazendam and Henk Datema.
She is survived by: her children, Ed, Karon Gazendam, Martin, Kelly Gazendam, Christine and Tom Gillelan; her grandchildren, Sarah, Dave Otten, Fern, Simon Krasevec, Nik, Andrea Gazendam, Rebecca, Jordan Killam, John, Brooke Gillelan, Rosa Gazendam, Jenni, Matt Brouwer, Calvin, Amanda Gillelan, Jesse, Joylen Gazendam, Clayton Gazendam, Samantha Taylor, Eric, Brittni Gazendam, Tineke, Rob Scharringa, Lia, David Noorloos, Tori, Joel Bos, Zachary, Nicole Gazendam, Mary Ellen and Brandon; her siblings, Reina (Dick), Rens (Henk Teunis), Rienk (Janny Folkerts), Anna (Albert van Wijk), Trijnie (Jan van der Molen) and Folkert (Marty Folkerts); and her siblings-in-law, Pieter, Hilco and Martha.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the West River Road Reformed Church (1410 W River Rd, Cambridge, ON N1R5S5). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
