George Maidment Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of George Maidment of Cambridge, Ontario, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 17, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Eleazar and Pearl; his stepmother Elizabeth "Lizzie"; and his siblings, Norma, Russell and John.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy; his children, Steve, Lorelee (Dan) and Lisa (David); his granddaughters, Rachel and Rebecca; and his siblings, Bess, Ted (Audrey) and Nelson.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Coutts Funeral Home (96 St Andrews St, Cambridge, ON N1S1M8).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation on behalf of the family.
