He was predeceased by: his father Harold E. Gaskin M. B. E.. He is survived by: his sister Mary Ann; his caregiver Erin; his friend Duane; and his cousin England.

A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St Gregory's Church (10 St Gregorys Dr, Cambridge, ON N1S3Z1). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Galt Country Club (750 Coronation Blvd, Cambridge, ON N1R8E3).
