He is survived by: his wife Ana Paula Lopes; his children, Jessica (Steven), Jason (Lauren) and Monica (Shervon); his grandchildren, Elliana, Emerson, Emilia, Briana, Theo, Arianna, Sebastion and Benjamin; and his siblings, Ernesto (Carla), Geninha (Alberto) and Jose (Maggie).

Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Corbett Funeral Home (95 Dundas St N, Cambridge, ON N1R5N6). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Fatima Roman Catholic Church (185 Elgin St S, Cambridge, ON N1R7C8).
