He is survived by: his wife Donna; his children, Ashley (Norman), Brittany, Poppy, Emmett and Rory; his siblings, Patrick (Joanne), Sheila Basha (George), Kevin (Lorraine), Mary Murphy (John), Angela McNamara (Mike), Elizabeth Young, Raymond (Marilyn), Theresa Wylie (Rick Faulkner), Robert (Margaret) and Christine Marrocco (Dino); and his siblings-in-law, Carol Myers, Susan Cooke, Frank Churchill (Trudy), Bernice Tarrant (Allan) and Maureen Cromwell (Mark). He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, extended family and several friends.

As expressions of sympathy, donations in Bernie's memory may be made to the Alzheimer Society, a cause that has deeply impacted his family.
