Avery Edward Best Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Avery Edward Best (Cambridge, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 20, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his stepson Steven Hansford; his parents, Maxwell Hall-Best and Betty Hall-Best (Elizabeth); and his siblings, June and Richard of Nova Scotia.

He is survived by: his wife Shirley Goebel-Best; his children, Janet Haskins, Steven Best and Ken Best; his stepchildren, Charlie Diniz (Charlene) and Lori Ellice; and his pet Dusty. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren as well as a great-grandfather.

As expression of sympathy and in Avery's memory, donations can be made to the Cambridge Humane Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
