It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alvaro Martins Gomes (Cambridge, Ontario), who passed away on April 25, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandson Jason. He is survived by: his wife Teresinha; his children, Tony (Trish) and Elizabeth (Nando); his close friend Laureen (Sean); his grandchildren, Holly (Aaron), Rachel (Enrique), Jacob, Emma (Ryan) and Abby; and his great grandchildren, Hailey, Violet, Zoe and Astrid.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation in Al's name would be appreciated.
