He is survived by: his children, Dennis Smith (Christine Chappell) of Victoria, BC, Merle Smith (Karen) of North Bay and Deborah Smith (Brad Davis) of North Bay; and his grandchildren, Kenneth, David, Brent, Stephanie and Heather.
