With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ross Stanley Atkinson (Caledonia, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 8, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hilda Atkinson and Clifford Atkinson; and his daughter Janet McClung. He is survived by: his brothers, Stanley, Harold and Larry; his wife Lena; his children, Debbie Gudgeon (George), Susan Gudgeon (Gaetan) and David (Kerry); his son-in-law Murray McClung; his grandchildren, Dr. John Julyan-Gudgeon (Shawna), Katie Grey, Jennifer Gudgeon, Jackie Jones, Amanda Atkinson, Roxanne Atkinson and Sean Atkinson; his stepchildren, Debbie Ladd (late John), John Peacock (Tracy) and Tommy Peacock (Brenda); and his grandchildren, Justin Peacock (Dee) and Mitzie Gibson (Eric).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Miller Funeral Chapel (28 Caithness St E, Caledonia, ON N3W1B7). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
