He was predeceased by: his spouse Linda Maidment; his sister Violet Dunstall (John); and his sibling-in-law Clark Maidment (Carla). He is survived by: his significant other Jane VanDalen; his children, Candice Drury (Mike Cukrovani) and Caitlyn; his siblings, Howard (Audrey), Chic (Carol), Ches (Betty), Doug (Patsy), Dot Weller (Kirk), Larry, Dave, Betty Tweedle (Harold) and Bonnie Edie; and his siblings-in-law, Shirley, Pat Peirson, Helen Peirson, Mark Maidment (Marta) and Ken Maidment (Barb).

In lieu of flowers donations to the West Haldimand Hospital or the Caledonia Food Bank would be appreciated by the family.
