She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Bill Mehlenbacher; her children, Mackenzie Mehlenbacher (Natalie Thomson), Spencer Mehlenbacher (Kristina) of Brantford and Grace Mehlenbacher (Steven Thomson) of Caledonia; her granddaughter Bonnie Mona; her sisters, Angela Thomson (Haico Krijgsman) of Ottawa and Heidi Brown; her niece Carolina; her parents, George Simkus and Meta Simkus; her siblings-in-law, Bruce Mehlenbacher, Barb May Andrew Mehlenbacher (Kelly) and Julie Jones Holly Nagel (Stephanie); and her close friends, Darrell, Anja Day, Roger, Cindy Campbell, Kim, Mark Spurr and Dave Dunnett.
