He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Jean (Marshall) and Edward "Ted" Andrew Hubert; his parents-in-law, Horace William and Nellie Muriel "Babe" Griffey; his nephews, Randy and Grant McTear; his brothers, Bill, Harry, Bob and Alvin McTear; and his brothers-in-law, Robert Smith and William Griffey.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Elizabeth; his children, Matthew (Victoria), Steven (Rachel) and Jennifer (Brad); his grandchildren, Alice, Samantha, Christine, Claudia and Robert; his sisters-in-law, Shirley McTear, Joan McTear, Joyce Campbell, Marlene Wade, Margaret Bernhardt and Lori Smith Griffey; his siblings, Ron Hubert and Dorothy Hopkins; and his nephew Mark Hubert.
