Mary Szalay Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Szalay (Caledonia, Ontario), who passed away on September 8, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Emery Szalay. She is survived by: her daughters, Nancy Grandoni (Domenic), Eileen Szalay (Chantal Beaudoin) and Marnie Smye (Dave); her brother Bernard; her grandchildren, Domenic (Alyona), Natasha (Ben), Julia (Alex) and Cassandra; her great grandchild Gabriel; and also Maria Ferris.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 11th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Miller Funeral Chapel (28 Caithness St E, Caledonia, ON N3W1B7). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, September 12th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Patrick's Caledonia Roman Catholic Church (107 Orkney St E, Caledonia, ON N3W1C5). A burial was held on Thursday, September 12th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the St. Patrick's Cemetery.
