She was predeceased by: her brother Dustin Cox. She is survived by: her husband Paul Girt; her parents, Heather Clifford (Bill) and Roy Cox (Sonja); her nephew Troy Cox; her grandmother Lillian Lewis; her stepsiblings, Doug, Candace, Rachel and Renne; her aunts and uncles, Howard (Peggy), Ralph (Frankie), Wilma (Jim), Laurena and Wayne (Anita); and her cousins, Steve, Lolita, Nathan, Paul, Wayne, Kevin, Jennifer, Sherry and Chad.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions a small family memorial service was held with remote access through Zoom Meeting.
