He was predeceased by: his former wife Joanne Murchie; his sisters, Vivian Fraser, Enid Bartolini and Mair; and his brother-in-law Bill Fraser.
He is survived by: his wife Lorna; his children, Joanne Hilker (Michael), Caledonia Murchie and Barry Murchie (Griselda) of Chicago; his grandchildren, Tyler, Katie (Joseph), Olivia and Stuart; his brothers, William (Mary) and George (Elizabeth); and his brothers-in-law, Dino Bartolini and Maurice Forget.
