She was predeceased by: her father George Maurier; and her stepfather Walter Henning. She is survived by: her husband Michael; her mother Patricia Henning of Ridgeway; her siblings, Janine Woronchak of Niagara Falls and Jason Maurier (Jesslyn) of Toronto; her parents-in-law, Ed and Claudia Schmidt of Niagara Falls; her siblings-in-law, David Schmidt (Aneta Johnson) of Frankford and Jane Hyman (Jim) of Niagara Falls; her stepmother Sharon Maurier of Fort Erie; her stepbrother Scott Ledingham (Jennifer); and her pets, Sampson and Sydney. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Toll Funeral Home (55 Charing Cross St, Brantford, ON N3R2H4). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to either the Canadian Cancer Society, Stedman Community Hospice, or the Heart and Stroke Foundation, and would be appreciated by her family.
