She is survived by: her husband John DeGroot; her children, Marilyn, Andy Miedema, Caroline, Henry, Trish Jewell and Pauline Vanderwal (late Kim); her grandchildren, Teresa, Pete, Tanya, Tim, Shelly, Jeff, Jody, Ken, Sarah, Jen, Bryan, Craig, Jaimie, Nicole, Brandon, Heather, Kris, Erika, Jordon, Spencer, Kaite, Mackenzie, Tyson, Nicholas, Julia, Keegan, Ashley, Emily, Maddison, Jessica, Quinten, Mason, Owen, Andrew, Lincoln and Travis; and her siblings, Paul, Nelly DeRuiter, Koos, Grace Haas, Martin and Annemarie Haas.
