She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse Francis Kempen; her children, Don, Anita (Eric), Ron (Annette) and Brett; her grandchildren, Vicky, Alex, John, Matthew and Rebecca; her brothers, Frank Bernhardt (Mary), Robert Bernhardt and Al Bernhardt; and her brother-in-law Don Kempen (Agnes). She was also cherished by her nieces and nephews.
