He was predeceased by: his wife Heather Ann Hutton; his parents, Laverne Thompson and Jean Thompson; his sister Dorothy Coyne (Gordon); and his siblings-in-law, Roger Hutton and Mary Hutton.
He is survived by: his children, Allan Thompson (Anne), David Thompson (Jacqueline), Amy Miller (Doug) and Lynda Wormald (Chris); his grandchildren, Elliott Miller (Rebecca), Scott Miller (Marissa), Ryan Thompson (Jennie), Tyler Thompson (Shannon), Jamie Miller (Jannessa), James Thompson (Rachel), Jordan Thompson (Charlotte), Julia Kimber (Adam), Lukas Wormald (Micah), Jessica Fletcher (Jordan) and Rachel Wormald; and his great grandchildren, Callum, Hallie, Lexi, Hank, Payton, Landon, Wyatt, Bennett, Teddy, Brooke, Maddox, Tyson, Scarlett, Wren and Leeland.
