We bid farewell to Willemina Johanna Kamphuis of Burlington, Ontario, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 14, 2025 at the age of 96. Willemina touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerrit Jan Marinus and Johanna Hermina Enserink (Hietkamp); and her grandmother Tante. She is survived by: her husband Hendrik; her children, Hank Kamphuis (Valerie), Gerald Kamphuis (Jane), Joanne McIsaac (Alan), John Kamphuis (Heather), Bernadine Gerrits (late Klaas), Wilma Harris (Ted), Tony Kamphuis (Ruth Ann) and Christina Bezemer (William); her grandchildren, Matthew (Lacy), Nick (Bethany Trainor), Amber Paglia, Alissa Kamphuis (Tyler Trainor), Marty (Dani), Kris (Dorothy), Anthony, Andrew McIsaac (Martine), Joshua McIsaac (Faith), Stephen McIsaac, Michael McIsaac (Emily), Andrea Hearn (Jamie), Carolyn McCarville (Nick), Rachel Koughan (Trevor), Isaac Gerrits (Emily), Hannah Gerrits (Jonathan Authier), Amanda Zorn (Charles), Brent Harris (Lauren), Kelly Harris Van Beilen (Nate), Mitchell Harris (Hayley Fallesen), Calvin, John, Alexandra Weinhardt (Andrew), Kyle Bezemer (Michelle Marano), Tallia VanGeest (Peter), Shannon De Boer (Brady), Makenna Thiessen (Kyle) and Sophia Bezemer (Samuel Cross); and her family, Joanne, John, Bernadine, Wilma, Tony and Christina.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Mountainview Christian Reformed Church (290 Main St E, Grimsby, ON L3M1P8). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
